The one motorcycle they are all copied from. The DUKE! KTM has released the new production duke 690 for the north american market. Orignally released in europe last year. Has finally made it to our shores.  The new motorcycle has been upgraded and tweaked with a new more modern brembo monoblock brakes and a new ABS braking system. Heck the new ABS system is so good you can select supermoto mode that will let you lock up the rear wheel for that full sliding action in the corners. KTM is retailing the new model for $8999. More than a fair price for such a great little bike.

The new fully adjustable forks on the ktm 690 duke are state of the art. seperating the rebound dampning and the compression damping. They have made each fork do a different job. The left fork handles the compression, while the right fork handles the rebound. KTM has not only upgraded the suspension but they have also done some serious mods to the engine. They have redone the cylinder head to improve performance and also fuel economy. The new motor puts out over 70 horses to help you pull that front wheel right off the ground in any gear.  KTM has also added a new slipper clutch. The latest in racing technology. This will great reduce the wheel hop when you are down shifting. Helping to keep that rear tire planted firmly on the ground.
