Ducati recalls some Panigale 1199

Ducati is recalling some Panigale 1199 models due to a incorrect screw installed to attach the swing arm to the rear suspension.  If the screw fails and the linkage becomes detached from the rear swing arm  it would cause the rear suspension to collapse leading to possible wreck.  Ducati will be contacting owners of the Panigale  have them bring their machines in for inspection and replacement of the incorrect part free of charge.


The new 1199 Panigale, with 195 horsepower, this Italian L-twin monster is the new power-to-weight champion of the motorcycle world, This new Ducati superbike that has been in development since the Ducati  1098 first arrived in the  showroom in 2007.  the 1198 panigale won this year’s World Superbike championship and easily won the title of  the hottest superbike on the planet for  2012.
