The birth of a new superbike. Triumph has dropped the details on its newest motorcycle. The new completely rebuilt from the ground up, triumph daytona 675r. It is a work of art. A master piece of design and form. Its sleek lines. Its race inspired build. It is the ulitmate in a race bike, but built for the street. Triumph has worked overtime to improve a already race proven design and they have done it with the new triumph 675r. From the Ohlins suspension to the brembo monobloc brakes. To the new slipper clutch, triumph has thought of everything.
Triumph has left no stine unturned on this new model. They have redesigned the engine to have a much larger cylinder bore and a shorter piston. By doing this triumph has made the engine able to rev faster and higher. This will help on the top speed and also keep the bottom end power where it needs to be. They have upgraded the valves to titanium to also help with increasing the rev limit on the engine. (700rpm’s more than the 2012). They updated the fuel injector with a second set to handle the extra fuel needed at top speeds.
The drivetrain has been redone to now include a new race tech slipper clutch setup. This will improve rear wheel stability under hard braking and hard deceleration. Either way the motorcycle will handle 10 times better now. Triumph has also improved the frame. It is made with fewer components and will be much stronger than last years model.
Triumph has outdone themselves on the new daytona 675r. They have taken a already great race proven motorcycle and too kit to the next level. i could go on and on about this motorcycle as I think it is one of the best sportbikes you can buy. Plus triumph has one of the best warranties in the business. A 2 year unlimited miles warranty comes standard in these motorcycles. That cant be beat for what is practically a race bike.
