15 years ago victory motorcycles was born with the birth of theV92C. It was a American made motorcycle with a harley davidson like design. It had a 92 cubic inch air cooled motor. The largest you could get at the time. It helped to start the displacement wars. That saw motors get larger and larger. year after year. The first victory motorcycles were pretty bulky rides. The new motors held its oil in the engine. Unlike the harley davidsons motorcycles. That keep their oil in a tank on the frame. This caused the cases to be pretty large, but it gave them a unique look.
Over the next 15 years victory motorcycles has refined that first motorcycle and made plenty of new models. like the victory Vegas or the Victory Hammer. All great v-twin motorcycles. And in 2003 arlen ness even teamed up with victory to produce some limited edition motorcycles based on the vegas motorcycle. That partnership lasted for many years and those bikes are some of the finest machines you will ever find. Now days victory has plenty of different motorcycles to choose from. They still have the cruiser models that started the company. Now you will also find they have a couple different bagger models and also a great line of touring motorcycles.
Now you can go to victory motorcycles on the 18th of january and check out what 15 years of design gets you. They will be revealing a new limited edition anniversary motorcycle at the international motorcycles show in new york city. I know I can wait to see what the guys up in wisconsin have cooked up for us. The new motorcycle has been 15 years in the making. So it should be a pretty wild ride. I hope it is a bad ass one of a kind cruiser. Something low to the ground and easy to sit on. I know I will be there checking it out on the 18th. dont miss it!
